Hospice cashing in on cup fever

By:
THE World Cup is now just around the corner and sweepstake bets are on as to who will lift the trophy.

The Peace Hospice, which serves the Potters Bar area, has set up a sweepstake game to capitalise on football fever, and help it to raise money for the services they provide.

Fundraising assistant Emma Watson wants to provide companies, clubs and groups of friends or colleagues with a sweepstake card and wall chart.

"We are always looking for fun ways to raise money for the hospice, so with World Cup fever sweeping the country we thought a sweepstake would be a great way to have some fun and also raise money for the hospice.

"Quite a few companies are getting involved in the sweepstake as well as local clubs."

To get involved call Emma on 01923 30340.

England car flags, costing £1, are also available from the hospice reception in Watford and its six charity shops in Radlett, Watford, Tudor, Garston, Chorleywood and Bushey.
